WisGate Ecosystem
The WisGate series consists of WisGate Edge, WisGate Developer and WisGate Connect. WisGate Edge devices are segment-leading LoRaWAN gateways, designed in both indoor and outdoor versions. They are configurable with backhaul connectivity options, power options and different antenna types. These devices provide everything needed for a reliable LoRaWAN deployment.
The WisGate Developer series gateways are small LPWAN base stations designed for internal projects, development and integration with embedded systems. They support multiple backhaul options to choose from, such as Ethernet or Cellular. WisGate Connect, on the other hand, is a complete IoT platform designed to support multiple connectivity options, both wireless and wired. It is configurable according to requirements and can be deployed both indoors and outdoors, even in industrial locations.

Zero-Touch Provisioning
RAKwireless also offers Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) - a factory configuration process that allows the gateways to be automatically, securely prepared for operation even before delivery to the customer. This provides each gateway with unique TLS certificates and a set of configuration settings, such as CUPS and LNS keys or frequency plan. This eliminates the need for manual provisioning in the field and significantly reduces deployment time. ZTP increases security, reduces the risk of errors and enables seamless network scaling - both for single deployments and extended IoT infrastructures.
WisDM Platform
For WisGate Edge gateways, RAKwireless has also developed a dedicated WisDM platform. This is a cloud-based IoT device management platform designed to simplify the deployment, monitoring and maintenance of large IoT networks. It enables remote device management with features such as real-time alerts, wireless firmware updates, built-in web server functions and remote troubleshooting. WisDM supports multi-user role management, gateway pre-provisioning, real-time network monitoring and multi-WAN configurations, helping to streamline operations and security and reduce maintenance costs - while offering a free tier for smaller deployments.
