The ESP32 is a low-cost, low-power system-on-chip microcontroller with integrated Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth capabilities. Developed by Espressif Systems, it features a dual-core Tensilica Xtensa LX6 microprocessor operating at up to 240 MHz. The ESP32 is widely used in Internet of Things (IoT) applications due to its versatility and robust performance. It offers a rich set of peripherals, including multiple GPIOs, ADCs, DACs, UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces, making it suitable for a wide range of projects.
