Currently, the latest generation of this technology, still being developed, is Wi-Fi 6, reaching speeds up to 9.6 Gb/s, with lower latencies, the ability to support more devices simultaneously, and ensuring greater security from the previous generation. Wi-Fi 5 modules, despite lower speeds reaching up to 3.5 Gb/s, still remain popular due to their position and availability.
