ERNI LDG-S2

The LDG-S2 enclosure is a compact and versatile solution for DIN rail mounting, ideal for applications in industrial electronics, automation, and machinery. Its well-thought-out design allows for optimal use of space and easy integration of components. With the ability to connect up to 16 terminals, the LDG-S2 is ideal for systems requiring precise and reliable connections.


Key features of the LDG-S2:

  • Designed for 16 terminals: Supports up to 16 terminals (4 screw terminal blocks with 4 terminals each) or up to 16 pin contacts (4 PCB headers with 4 pin contacts each), providing flexibility in connection configuration. Versions with plug-in or screw terminals are available.
  • Compact width: With an installation width of 22.5 mm, the LDG-S2 minimizes the space occupied on the DIN rail while offering sufficient space for printed circuits.
  • Easy installation: The snap-in design of the two-piece base and top section and the integrated snap-in clip facilitate quick and easy installation on a DIN rail (in accordance with DIN EN 50 022).
  • Effective cooling: The base part with integrated ventilation slots ensures optimum heat dissipation. Closed versions (without ventilation slots) are also available on request.
  • High safety standards and materials: The enclosure is fully insulated, made of thermoplastic (UL 94 V-0 for the base and top, UL 94 V-1/V-2 for the cover), ensuring resistance to temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. It complies with IEC 60 664 and IEC 112 standards, offering IP40 protection.
  • Additional options: Transparent enclosure cover with label option and customizable colors and versions.
