The modern industrial aluminum enclosure features a design that simultaneously maintains high protection standards. It is hinged, with mounting screws hidden underneath, not visible from the outside. A precisely fitted silicone gasket ensures a high IP protection rating according to DIN EN 60529. It meets the requirements of the railway standard DIN EN 45545-2 regarding the emission of harmful substances during the combustion of the coating. It achieves an impact protection rating of IK07, 08 according to IEC 62262. In terms of shape, the aluminum Bocube Alu enclosure line corresponds with the Bocube plastic enclosures, allowing for a consistent marketing appearance of devices. Colors other than those listed in the catalog are available upon request, including unpainted enclosures. The set includes the top and bottom of the enclosure with mounting screws and anodized hinges.

There is an option for additional anti-corrosion protection to meet ISO 9227 standards (so-called salt spray tests).
